Ramos cells (a Burkitts Lymphoma cell line) were treated with (filled histogram) or left untreated (open histogram) by anti-human IgM (H+L chain) (Cat. No. 397302) for 5 minutes. Cells were fixed with Fixation Buffer (Cat. No. 420801), permeabilized with Intracellular Staining Permeabilization Wash Buffer (Cat. No. 421002), and then intracellularly stained with PE anti-PLCγ2 Phospho (Tyr 759) recombinant (clone QA20A56).

Description

PLCγ2 is a member of the PLC family. PLCγ is the only member that contains SH2 and SH3 domains, which enable it to interact with protein tyrosine kinases and become activated by phosphorylation. PLCγ2 is expressed primarily on hematopoietic stem cells and on B cells. PLCγ2 catalyzes the hydrolysis of phospholipids to yield second messenger molecules diacylglycerol (DAG) and inositol triphosphate (IP3).

Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by intracellular immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 5 µL per million cells in 100 µL staining volume or 5 µL per 100 µL of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
